The European Territory Demonstration Event took place on 16 September 2024 in a hybrid mode, with both people attending in person and online participants. The meeting was held at the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) in Milan (Italy).

The event was attended by 35 participants in person, with representatives of the EU Joint Research Centre, fire services, and researchers from different European institutions, plus 148 online participants from different countries and institutions, covering from universities, research centres, fire services, civil protection, ONGs, and private institutions such as insurance companies.

The objectives of the event were to present the different products developed during the FirEUrisk project at European scale, as well as the method for the integration of these products to obtain the final Integrated Fire Risk. It was also an important objective to gather feedback from the participants (both in person and online) on the results obtained.

Experts of the project presented their products related to:

• Danger components: human and natural sources of ignition, live fuel moisture content, fuel types, fire propagation
• Vulnerability components: ecological values, coping capacity and recovery time, ecosystem services
• Fire mitigation and adaptation to climate scenarios
• Risk integration and validation
